I watched Smallville for the second time tonight. I picked a cool episode to jump in on. Lots of recognizable symbolism, not to mention the John Williams fanfare being reprised not once but TWICE. Kal-el learned his real name, the name of his planet, and also received an odd message from Jor-el basically wishing him well in his conquest of the Sol system. Neat and fun.
