I’m going to shoot myself.

I’m using Outlook Express. I can’t stand this shit. Squirrelmail is fucking up. It’s running extremely slowly, and sometimes just won’t work at all. It’s not my webserver, and it isn’t the mail server. Both are working just fine and speedy. I upgraded squirrelmail, but that didn’t do anything but cause me to lose my [...]

Let the ulcers begin!

It occurred to me yesterday that from this Monday (today) forward, close to 100% of my time will be budgeted until mid-May. Perhaps I should draw up a Gantt chart of all the activities that will take place in this period, since many time-sensitive processes will key off event triggers with currently unknown ETAs.
Hell no.
But [...]

Beret of poodle on my noodle…

As usual, I’m a few days behind on the news, but come May 20, we’ll have a brand-spankin’ new Weird Al album on our hands, and a subsequent tour later this year.
Kick ass.

A 14-hour nap

We got home from the union of two beautiful people around 6:30. We were both tired, so we decided to take a nap and then go eat at Outback.
Well, we woke up at about 9 o’clock this morning.
Oh well. We were duly scolded — Grace tore up a lot more carpet and tried to destroy [...]

You lose.

That is all.

Plagiarism

I couldn’t come up with anything profound to say about tonight, other than “Damn good times,” so I’ll borrow from a very good friend:

Tonight. I saw a good man serenaded by two other good men.

Tonight, I saw good men gift money to another good man, on pure principle.

I saw one good man’s ass. Well, this wasn’t the high point of the night, but it surely was interesting.

And I still have a wedding to go to. Damn.

Preach on… NIG-GA!!!!!!!!!!!! Who’s making the chicken and waffles tomorrow morning?

I hope the girls had at least half as much fun as the guys had. Damn.

(But we never did wrap Joel in toilet paper and send the picture back.)

I wasn’t talking to you! I was talking to the cigarette!

Finally! I have every episode of NewsRadio, including the one that would not finish downloading for well over 2 months.
It’s archivin’ time.

Get it straight

We have tickets to the Saturday night Zakk show in Tempe, but the Friday night show in Tucson is sold out. Well, I just called the joint selling the tickets, and the woman I talked to was very rude and had no information about the show at City Limits in Tucson. Curiously, she did say [...]

Grownup Retards

It amazes me how so many adult, “professional” people can be so lazy and not find the time to do their tiny-ass piece of a very simple group project for a class they are paying to take.
I have been trying to organize this bullshit group project since January, and only one other guy in the [...]

Non-diversifiable risk

I just fucked up a reading comprehension quiz in Corporate Finance. I understood the concept, but I just slipped up on a definition. It’s irritating, but understandable and acceptable. By studying and doing well on the quantitative aspects of the material, I’ll do well on the quizzes and the final, thus diversifying my scholastic assets [...]
