Blow me, WinAmp

QCD Player is one million times better than WinAmp. Maybe once (if) WA3 ever becomes a real application and not just a Wasabi demo, I’ll switch back. But for now, I can do everything I want with QCD, including use my laptop music buttons.

Holy friggin crap! That program is seriously awesome. I like that it loads up as quickly as mozilla… winamp was taking half a day to load onto my screen, and by the time it loaded I didn’t feel like listening to a particular song anymore.

and the search function doesn’t require any hot-keys or funtion buttons… it’s just there waiting to be searched. I love it.

I’ve been using QCD for about a year now. The sound quality is considerably better than Winamp IMHO. I really like some of the more conpact skins. I got fixed on the BlackBanana skin and haven’t chenged. I love it.

Shut your hole.

There are times when I am forced, in one way or another, to use the devil’s operating system. And, in those times, this is a nice tool to have at my disposal.

The world does exist outside of Debian, you know. It just isn’t very happy.

BTW–

Your comment system seems to be working well, now. Did you ever figure out what caused it to not post to the web or did it just fix itself?

Well, the only thing that has changed is that we got email working. So, it would appear that the MTThreadedComments plugin has a very odd quirk in that it will not create a new comment until the email notification has been successfully sent. Kinda ass backwards. I might see if I can fix that, since at this point the comments in the DB and on the rendered pages are pretty much notifications that an email has been sent to the author/OC.
