B brought our little one over this weekend so that she could stay with Daddy for Halloween week. She has been the nicest girl ever the last few days, sleeping next to me and loving on everyone. Even people who don’t want her to love on them. Coincidentally(?), Beau and John have been sick the last two days. I really hope it’s not Grace causing it all.
Beau’s phone just rang, and Grace sprung out of my lap to go investigate. She’s standing in my doorway looking down the hall, wondering if she should press on.
No news on the job front. School is going quite smoothly. The house is a mess. I must remedy that before Mama gets here Friday.
Speaking of Mama, she’s gonna cook up a mess of gumbo for Saturday night. Probably eat around 6. We’re probably going to a Halloween party later that night with some friends, but if anyone wants to join us here for dinner, by all means get in touch with me.
