Saturday night Rob, Vicki, B and I went to Cynthia & Dan’s cocktail party, gorged myself on whore’s divorce, and had an excellent time hanging out and meeting new people. Afterward, we were tired but decided to show up at our friend Troy’s show in Ellum. Great band. When we finally got home, B zonked out on the futon while I took Rob and Vicki home.

The next morning, I woke up, had Listerine for breakfast, and went down to the studio to lay down some simple guitar tracks. Then we went to see The Divide again at Zubar. We left before they finished, but had some tasty eats.

I had a headache all day. While the band was playing Vicki tried to massage the tension out of my head, but today I discovered that she had bruised my temples. I wasn’t her fault, I guess I just have a fragile little head.

I’m attempting to get the jump on my last two weeks of school. Right now I’m working on some simple but very tedious finishing touches to my final prentation for Systems Development, which is at 4pm tomorrow. Wednesday I have an easier presentation in Policy & Strategy that’s already completed. After that I’m going to see Sara‘s show and hopefully get the stomp boxes, which I left at the studio, from Dave. Thursday night I have a 6-page paper due, a financial analysis, a peer review, and a final exam for Strategic Management. Friday and Saturday are gig nights.

Next Tuesday I have a final exam in SysDev. Wednesday is the final presentation in PolStrat, and then (possibly) another gig at a very cool place. After that, it’s all over but the cryin’. Two weeks of cleaning, and then the walking and the grilling and the familying. I need to figure out who all is staying at my house and who all is getting a hotel room and who all is even coming.
