Work has not been extremely rewarding thus far. One of my superiors called today to say that one of the new employees was a no-show. She wanted me to come into work. But tonight was to be the first time B and I got to see each other for two weeks. I reluctantly agreed to [...]

I told one of my managers last night that I was overwhelmed. She seemed very concerned, so I clarified that I didn’t mean I felt as if I was in over my head. I feel overwhelmed by the ineffectiveness of the tech support staff and its current procedures. When I showed up at 9pm last [...]
I have plenty to say about the new job, but it’ll have to wait. It’s 6:45am, and I just dragged my ass in the door. Hopefully the 20 to 40 minute commute will get less stressful once I have corrected my vehicular dilemma (the Mrs. now needs a pirate’s patch on her left eye, by [...]
There are rumors that Quantum Trek: Shitterprise is going to be cancelled soon. There hasn’t news this exciting in the Trek world for a great many years. I have a job. I start on the 20th.
Practice tonight was awesome.
The twins are coming for lunch and more karaoke conspiracy tomorrow.
Speaking of karaoke, we’re thinking of having a little get-together at the house next weekend. LAN party, Karaoke, and general celebration of my return to the workforce. Who’s in?
How Santa Got His Groove Back (Post-Christmas Post Part II)
January 5th, 2004 in Potpourri. 1 CommentWhere were we? Christmas morning.
Christmas morning was later than ever in 2003. Most of the B-town gang were up at my place until well after 3am playing board games, sipping Crown, and wrapping presents. ‘Twas fun, but I miss being able to wake up at 5 or 6am, all excited about the rest of [...]
