My first day at this job, and I’ve already been called a cockmonkey.

I started a new job Monday. I think I’m really going to dig it. It’s still a bit scary with this ominous ignorance of our product hanging over my head, but hopefully that will be remedied soon and I can get right into being comfortably disdainful of it.

I must say that Rachel (and her cohorts) are excellent people to work with. So far, most of my interaction with them at the office has been meaningless bullshit or smalltalk about software and popular goings-on. I’m sure it’ll be just as pleasant talking shop once I have the knowledge required to do so.

So far, no substantive complaints.

On an unrelated note, Lionel Richie’s soon-to-be-ex-wife is a horrible bitch. I love how this official declaration just assumes that, since Lionel paid in excess of $300,000 for her spending habit while married, he’s obligated to pay at least that much once divorced.

Aside from Business Law, I’ve studied civil law only generally. Is this common among rich-as-hell divorce cases?

He should have gotten a Massey Prenup.
