If you call it humpday I’ll hump you but good

I’m tired and I didn’t get a good shower this morning because the hot water was gone for some reason. Shit beyond my control at work is keeping me from doing something I’ve been tasked with getting done by Friday. I had to change a tire on the shoulder of 35 this morning. My room [...]

baldguysinpartyhats.com

Yes, thank you.
Here are the birthday party photos.
And of course, the greatest one:

It’s a good thing we keep that guy around. Otherwise we’d never have clean couch risers, and you all know how unsightly a soiled couch riser is.
If you don’t watch this (XViD) and find it hilarious, you’re more than likely a very bad [...]

Sie hat sehr netten Beine.

Thanks to all who came out to the party, it was a friggin’ blast. Laura showed up and wowed the crowd with her singin’. One person was injured and ended up getting stitches this morning, but overall it was a kickass event that didn’t wind down until close to 6am.
I have lots of pictures, and [...]

Reminder!

You will be at my house Saturday night for birthday shennanigans.

Now watch this drive

My alarm did not go off this morning. If a telemarketer hadn’t called (with a wrong number, no less) at about 9:30, I don’t know when I would have made it in.
I called my boss as soon as I got up, and she asked, “Well, are you going to make it in today?”
I said Yes.
“You [...]

So COME give me a hug if ya inta data recovery

I have successfully saved all of my data! It took about 9 hours to recover about 30GB of files, but they are saved. I highly recommend these guys. Their shit works.
Now I just need to format this drive and scan it to see if there are any physical errors.

Three-Decade Crisis!

My 120GB harddrive has decided to do something weird to my entire Audio directory. The rest of the partition (NTFS) is fine, but anytime I try to access the Audio directory (which is in the root of the drive), I get an “I/O device error.” I mounted it in Debian, and had pretty much the [...]

You low-carbers can eat all the pesticide you want

And while you’re at it, eat my ass, too.
Sure, this is just one organization’s look at the stuff, but I’ve found several like it. And I didn’t set out to find evidence of Splenda’s evilness. Before this morning, I had never tasted Splenda. However, my usual QT was out of regular Donkey Kick [...]

What are you drinkin’ (on June 26)?

I bought a new video card this weekend, a Radeon 9800 Pro. As soon as Bauer is finished with his psychoanalysis and reconstruction, I’ll finally be able to play Deus Ex II the way I want.
I’m trendy. I have an intermittently-activated webcam. It’s all Daniel’s fault.
June 27 is my birthday. I would like to have [...]

I fell in love with men in funny pants

Ok, not really the men, but the huge slabs of meat they carried around on skewers, which they were eager to slice off onto my plate. Some folks from $TheCompany and I went to Fogo de Chao last night, my first time. Wow. What a great restaurant. Meat galore, veggies only if ya want ‘em. [...]
