LAST CALL!!!

Ok, I’m ready to get rid of my laptop, for real this time. I’m gonna give one last shot to my homies and hoes up in here who might want it, then I’m eBaying the sonofabitch. The only problem with it is that I have totally fried one of the batteries (the backup one) while messing around with power management stuff. I have a fresh new main battery on the way, so that will be rectified shortly.

I think I’ve posted the specs before, but here they are again:

Gateway 600YG2, bought new for a little over $2000 in January of 2003
P4 2.0GHz Processor
512M PC2100 RAM
Radeon Mobility M9 Video adapter with NTSC TV out
Firewire (iLink)
2 USB 2.0 ports
Mini-pci 802.11b adapter
40GB laptop drive
Currently dual-booting Windows XP and Debian (If you want the box, but don’t care for one of these OSes, let me know and I’ll wipe/repartition)
Optical audio input/output

Accessories:
Shiny, new, never-used-once floppy drive
Nearly dead modular backup battery (goes where the floppy drive was)
Desktop port-replicator (for docking to keyboard/monitor/mouse/speakers/extra USB, etc.)
Slightly worn Targus backpack, very comfortable with lots of little pouches

If you’re interested, let me know here or contact me in the manner you prefer, and make me an offer, as no reasonable one will be refused, and I’d much rather hand it all over to somebody locally than have to mail it.

Wow… Nice digs. I’d say you should get about $1k for it, plus or minus. Unfortunately, I’m broke, and refraining from further indebting myself. *sigh*

What kind of LCD, XGA or SXGA+? Why are you selling?

15″ SXGA+ TFT active matrix w/ ATI Mobility Radeon 9000 w/ 64MB DDR video memory

I’m selling it because lately all I’ve been using it for is an mp3 player and a storage vessel. I’ve bought an iRiver which will do both quite easily.

Oh, and I should have mentioned, the native resolution of the screen is 1280×1024.

That’s a badass machine, but I think I’m set on a thinkpad. Good luck!
