RenFest was fun, if entirely too Jessandjimless. We ate some good food, drank some good drinks and saw some excellent shows. My favorite this year was Cast in Bronze, a guy playing “the world’s only mobile Carillon.” Loud and beautiful.
B was naked for a good 10 hours. The drum circle was fun, but not as fun as usual. It was missing one multi-colored djembei.
Ok, onto other things. Halloween party: Rob and Vicki can’t come if it’s on Saturday, but a scary majority of others can’t come if it’s on Friday. Sooo… I’m going to have to talk to R&V and see if they and I can just hang out Friday night.
At any rate, the 2004 Halloween Scaryoakefest will take place at my house (pending roommate approval) on the evening of Saturday, October 30. Rachel has decided she’d like to cater, and that sounds groovy to me. If anybody would like to help out with that, let me or her know.
So, let me know if you can come and we’ll try to get a head count. If you’re reading this, you’re more than likely invited so just drop me an email, give me a call, or post a comment here. The usual rules will apply: we’ll have drinks available, but if you’d like to have more than a glass or two of something, please BYOB and/or contribute to the bar.
So now I must figure out for certain what B and I are going to wear. We have several ideas, all of which will require a lot of time and work. Add to that the fact that she’s moving this weekend, and we’re very close to being screwed. I might just put on my robe and wizard hat and go as Blood Ninja.

I’m pretty sure Jess and I will be there. I’ll talk it over with her tonight and give you a more concrete answer tomorrow.
