I got some great responses to my subtle call to arms yesterday. We’re still looking for more people to help out. We need all kinds of people — so many kinds that we don’t even know how many kinds we need. Specifically, right now I’m looking for someone with experience and skill (and a fondness for) IRC operations. I need someone who can setup a bot to do a few menial tasks around our channel. Nothing out of the ordinary: op people who should be op’d, maybe a trivia game or two, reply to information requests about our group, etc. If you like doing that sort of thing, have the means to do it, and swear that you will never do anything to disrupt the pleasant operation of our happy family (I’ll get this written in blood and/or brown at a later date), then leave a comment here. Or, better yet, just send me an email (farris IZZAT gentlenews DIZZOT com) with a subject beginning with “IRCDEEZ”.
In other news, poker last night went well. I left with almost four times as much dough as when I came.
