A year or two ago, I would have blown money I couldn’t afford to blow on this, because that’s what I did. But not today. I’m better now, though I can’t say I wasn’t tempted.

It is a damn good price though… Hmm…

NO! I won’t do it. I can do all that shit on any one of my far-too-many PCs at the house and not be limited to CF or SD.

Yeah, but that shit ain’t portable. I don’t have a laptop anymore.

ENOUGH. Last night the gang went to eat at BD’s and then R, V, A, J and I went to a “Mardi Gras Party” at Razoo’s. It kinda sucked balls. Once again, I was the queer bait of the group and received several offers of beads to show my junk. The junk did not make an appearance. I had plenty of beads already and didn’t even have to expose my mediocre genitalia to earn them. I left after about an hour.

Ok, I swear, that better be the last “Accosted By Homos” story for a while.

I’ve been playing around with one of Justin Frankel’s latest projects, Jesusonic. I love it. I’m going to dig around for some hardware so that I can put together a linux box dedicated to this and then try to build a low-profile case for it. I might get another I-PAC and use it for input, though I’m open to other suggestions. If I can get the latency low enough, it could very easily replace all of my effects pedals and fit nicely onto my velcro pedal board I have on extended back order via Mexican Express.

Also, against my better judgement, I’m picking up Java again. As soon as I’m comfortable with stuff slightly more complicated than Hello World again, I’m going to switch gears and mess with Ruby. More on all this at a later date, as I don’t want to jinx it right now.

Work is work. I’m still working on that.

I’m getting a lot better at posting here semi-frequently. I need to get my damn layout pretty again. I also need to upgrade WordPress and write a better comment script. I’ll probably just wait for WP 1.5 before I do all that. Why? I don’t know.
