Would you mind not farting while I'm saving the world?

Since people have been sharing their dreams lately, and it’s an extremely rare occasion that I actually remember my dreams, let me tell you about this winner I had last night.

It was the first day of High School, Senior year I think. I don’t know the name of the school, and it didn’t look anything like my old High School. Several people I didn’t meet until college or later were attending school with me, many of them much older than I was/am. D’urn was there, and he was in the choir. But he was always passed out in the choir room.

For some reason, I really wanted to be on the cheerleading squad. But everybody thought I was joking. The head cheerleader was this girl that, in the real world, none of my friends like much at all back in HS. In fact, she wasn’t exactly cheerleading material (not that I am or was in this dream either).

All of the details and plot are already getting very fuzzy, but I do know that it was one of those dreams with definite character development, underlying problem, and climactic finale. I think the end involved me trying out the choir instead, figuring out that choir boys were all drunks, and then learning Rock & Roll and blowing the roof off the sucker.

Make sure you tell D’urn that one. He’ll get a kick out of it.

Of course, D’urn at 18 was about 180 lbs. and ran a mile in under 6 minutes, I think.

I have the same situation, almost never remember my dreams. When I do remember them I don’t sleep worth a damn. R&R beats the hell outta choir anyhow!
