I’m amused at how upset people are over his video. The comments are mostly negative. “Bringing brothers down by propagating this stereotype.” blah blah blah.
Stereotypes come from lack of awareness. Pointing a bright light at a stereotype is a GOOD thing, not a BAD thing.
Anyone who thinks the guy’s video is the way people act on more than a fractional percentage isn’t going to be swayed one way or another by a YouTube video.
Satire makes intelligent people question themselves, and maybe laugh at the disparity. Those attacking the satirist and the group being made fun of are simply choosing ignorance.
Racism will never completely go away. Prejudice is a way of humanity and has been ongoing for thousands of years. You-Tube isn’t going to change that.
Those people being so angry and upset about it ARE setting a broad spectrum prejudice against sensitivity to the issue. They are the loudest group in their subgroup, and are setting the bar for their entire subcommunity. Anger, intolerance, hostility and poor spelling are the only thing I see.
Of course, the truly intelligent knew not to post there, so it’s a false stereotype, but it’s one that these foox are propagating to those receptive (you know, the dumb white group that is exactly the same mentality?).
Anyway, just exploring thought. I thought the video was silly, but I didn’t watch much of it.
I’m Jiggaboo Jones, that’s how I roll. If you don’t like it, kiss my ass, in the hole.
