Vitamin C For The Uptake

Today is my last day of prep before I embark upon my first true attempt at recording an entire album. In the last few days I’ve written some awful lyrics, and made some near-awful decisions to use/tweak some previously created material. All in all, I think it will turn out to be very fun. If you don’t hear a whole lot from me during the month of February, poke at me with a digital stick and make sure I’m coming up for air as often as necessary. Again, if you’re a musician and want to join me, please do. I’d be open to anything: vocalists, instrumentalists, beat-boxers, sequencers, et cetera. If you want to come by, hang out, and play/hum/sing along, please do. If you’re too far away and want to collaborate metaphysically, please do.

If you catch snippets of things that I might shoot out there for review and want to offer constructive criticism, please do. If you just want to tell me “That’s not really my thing” or “I don’t like it” or “You’re terrible, give up” then just keep that shit to yourself. I like help. I like suggestions. I don’t like negative criticism that offers nothing of value to me.

I’ll be drumming for you in that metaphysical plane.

I do realize that I’d be more help if I was in the state of Texas.

I can’t write music or lyrics to save my life, but I can sing anything you put in front of me.

Monica: Word. Why don’t you move back for a month?

Rachelle: SCORE! I was hoping you’d bite that obvious worm. Mind cluing me into your range?

I’m a lower mezzo — my practical range is G3 to G5 (A below the staff to G above).

Sounds like fun. Too bad I have no talent, real or metaphysical.

    P. S. I just watched that episode. I’m from Idaho.
