Today is my last day of prep before I embark upon my first true attempt at recording an entire album. In the last few days I’ve written some awful lyrics, and made some near-awful decisions to use/tweak some previously created material. All in all, I think it will turn out to be very fun. If you don’t hear a whole lot from me during the month of February, poke at me with a digital stick and make sure I’m coming up for air as often as necessary. Again, if you’re a musician and want to join me, please do. I’d be open to anything: vocalists, instrumentalists, beat-boxers, sequencers, et cetera. If you want to come by, hang out, and play/hum/sing along, please do. If you’re too far away and want to collaborate metaphysically, please do.
If you catch snippets of things that I might shoot out there for review and want to offer constructive criticism, please do. If you just want to tell me “That’s not really my thing” or “I don’t like it” or “You’re terrible, give up” then just keep that shit to yourself. I like help. I like suggestions. I don’t like negative criticism that offers nothing of value to me.
